Internet Censorship

So, apparently everyone and their mom (or at least my mom) has seen this meme already, but I came across it the other day and laughed myself into near convulsions.

It made me think of how everyone came together, and still is, on SOPA.

The good news is that we do have the capacity to fight for what we believe in. The bad news is that we don't have the capacity to fight for things that are more important.

But at the end of the day, that meme still gives me a good chuckle.

  1. Count me among those who hadn't seen it. Now laughing along with you. Funny because it's so true. :)

  3. I agree, it's a good first step but more should be taken.

  4. I agree, it's all about expectations. We get used to some things, but won't accept others.

    1. Yeah, I guess we're used to the government's random economic decisions, but not our internet!
Still, then we have to ask ourselves 'why?'

  7. Wow, I can't believe so many people didn't see this! And I'll admit, I was one of them! And you're right, it's kind of sad how so many people can get together to stop censorship of the internet but not many people want to get off the computer and stop other important things. Thanks for sharing!
